The Asperger Syndrome Adult Transition (ASAT) Extended Day program announces an Extended Day program . This innovative program is designed for individuals who are working, who are enrolled in transitional vocational programs through their school districts, or who are otherwise available for learning in the afternoon or evenings. The program will run Monday thru Thursday from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Regularly scheduled activities will include:

  • Daily group meetings and debriefings
  • Social communication instruction
  • Independent living skills (e.g., meal preparation, grocery shopping, apartment maintenance, laundy)
  • Community access
  • Skill-building classes and groups (e.g., goal setting, self awareness, self advocacy, managing emotions, etc.)
