For three weeks Chapel Haven Out to Art students, along with teachers, met to create this fabulous poster for the Connecticut Art Docent Network Symposium, “Art For All.”

The project was led by Jaime Ursic; Assistant Curator of Education at Yale Center for British Art, using George Stubbs’s “Zebra” as a model.

The group peeled hundreds of crayons to create layers of color hot-glued together. Silhouettes of people were superimposed over the painting to create the effect of art lovers viewing it.
