On May 11, participants in Chapel Haven’s SAIL program organized and held their own formal dinner dance for the first time.
The event took place at Amarante’s on New Haven’s East Shore. The SAIL adults formed a committee and planned every detail, right down to the food and the music played.
Says staffer Tim Cenabre, “this idea was formulated and brought together by a group of determined, motivated students in the SAIL program! We are proud of them beyond words!”
