Chapel Haven is delighted to announce that the 36-hour online giving event known as the Great Give raised nearly $10,000 from 21 donors in support of all that Chapel Haven is doing!
“We are delighted that people reached out to share their support and enthusiasm for our life-changing model,” said Michael Storz, President of Chapel Haven.

Donations to Chapel Haven ranged from $25 to $2500. Donations came from a variety of individuals, including families, Chapel Haven adults, staffers, local Alderman Adam Marchand and Chapel Haven friends.
Donors had the option to leave remarks on the site, many of which were touching and affirming.
Annette Osher gave her donation in honor of her son and Chapel Haven’s upcoming wellness initiative.
“Thank you for the good work that you do,” said donor Katherine McManus.
Chapel Haven adult Jacob Pearson made a donation and said, “so happy to be able to contribute towards Chapel Haven’s new campus.” Thank you, Jacob, that is awesome!
Mavi & Cliff Skakle made a donation and said, “see you on the tennis court, Chapel Haven!” We can’t wait!

Josh, Ann and Nate made a generous donation and called Chapel Haven “a special place.”

The Great Give is an annual 36-hour online fundraising event that unites donors with charitable organizations serving Greater New Haven in a fun and engaging way. Created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (The Foundation), the community-wide event is in its ninth year. It receives sponsorship support from The Foundation, its partner in philanthropy the Valley Community Foundation, and other community sponsors, interested in promoting local philanthropy. In 2018, we’re looking to raise $1.5 million in 36 hours for Greater New Haven’s charitable organizations.
