Chapel Haven Schleifer Center’s Partnership for Achievement through Vocational Experience (PAVE) program has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with it’s first partnering host-business, Yale New Haven Hospital, since the inception of the work-based learning program in 2012.

The PAVE at YNHH class, led by Work-Based Learning Specialist, Sue Snowden, organized a winter meet and greet on December 7th, just in time for the holiday season!  YNHH staff including members of the Volunteer Services department were invited to enjoy refreshments and lively conversation as the PAVE participants took the opportunity to show their gratitude for all of the support of the program!

This was not only a great opportunity for PAVE volunteers to show their appreciation to their partners at YNHH but  also a time to practice the professional networking skills they’ve been working hard at honing since the beginning of the program year in September.

Congrats to all our PAVE participants, staff and to our host, Yale-New Haven Hospital!
