Please join Chapel Haven Schleifer Center on Friday, Oct. 4, noon to 1:30 p.m. for “The Art of Letting Go,” an interactive, parent-led workshop on how to prepare your young adult for a successful transition into independence.
Join keynote speaker Dr. Deborah Carroll and parents from Chapel Haven as they talk about their experiences seeking out next steps for their emerging young adults – from building independence in the middle and high school years to letting go of their own fears and coping with “empty nest.” We will discuss the stressors that parents and children face about leaving home after high school, and share stress management strategies and resources to help lighten the journey. Light lunch served, campus tour offered.
Pre-registration is required. Please use this link to register: Oct. 4 workshop
