It was an exciting day on campus Monday, May 3 when Cafe Connections held a “soft” opening for staff and residents of Chapel Haven Schleifer Center.
The new cafe, located on the first floor of the SAIL building, features menu items prepared by adults employed in our cafe, spirit wear made by Chapel Haven’s UARTS program, and is staffed by CareerAbility trainees.
The grand opening was made official with a noon ribbon cutting, and lots of staff and residents attended.
Cafe Connections will be open for grab-and-go breakfast and lunch from 9-2 PM Monday-Friday.
The campus has not yet re-opened to community members. Community Members may still place their orders in for curbside pickup for breakfast and call ahead for lunch by calling the café between 9-11:30. Instructions for pick up will be provided.
The cafe will accept cash, check, or charge. We no longer use café accounts.
