Chapel Haven Schleifer Center is delighted to announce that seven original works of art by our adults have been accepted for the Milestones National Autism Conference Virtual Art Show!

“We are excited to share their talent and creativity with our conference audience from across the country,” said Jill Lipman of Milestones Autism Resources.

Their artwork will be part of a video slideshow that will air from June 15 – August 15, 2022, accessible to all registered conference attendees. Milestones has an amazing conference planned, including a special track for autistic individuals.  Learn more about the conference here

As a “thank you” for being part of the Virtual Art Show, each artist has been offered one free, all-access conference registration.

Congratulations to the following selected artists:

Three artisans from UArts

  • Laurel Marietta (Diamond Painting)
  • Barbara Doherty (Yarn Rug)
  • Danny Bress (Woven Scarves)

Four artists from CHSC Art Guild

  • Chris Murray (New York skyscraper, CHSC New Campus)
  • John Orr (Butterrfly, Owl)
  • David Hogin (Paintings of NYC, CHSC Building),
  • John Murphy (Van Gogh Shoes, Coke can)

CHSC Art Director Tina Menchetti said she is delighted that “our talented artists will have their works of art viewed virtually by a national audience of parents, professionals and adults. It is truly an honor that Milestones National Autism Conference Virtual Art Show will share our talented students’ art work virtually June 15th-August 15th, 2022 nationally!”
