2nd annual Afternoon of Awesome
Our inaugural Afternoon of Awesome was such a blast, we have decided to bring it back again! Thank you to the Chapel Haven Family Association for sponsoring this fun event!

This event is free and open to families, staff and prospective families. The event includes:
- Campus tours for prospective families
- Carnival Games & Summer Snacks
- Dunk Tank – dunk the Recreation Staff & our President Mike!
- A CHSC talent show presented by our amazing Chapel Haven performers (previously The Night of Noise)

CHSC 11th Annual Golf Tournament
Chapel Haven Schleifer Center will hold its 11th annual CHSC Golf Tournament on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at a new and exciting venue, The Farms Country Club in Wallingford, CT.
The tournament, founded in 2014, is volunteer-run by an enthusiastic steering committee and is a fun day for both participants as well as CHSC community members. Proceeds over the years have funded a range of campus projects, including technology and security upgrades, new vans and job assistance for CHSC adults. We are grateful to our golfers who return faithfully and enthusiastically each year to support our life-changing mission.

This year, the tournament co-chairs are Staunton Peck and Mike Kenney, both parents and golf enthusiasts with many years of experience with the tournament.
The event begins with registration and breakfast at 9 a.m. Golfers can attend a CVS immunization clinic and browse an amazing array of door prizes before heading out for a Shot-Gun Start at 11 a.m. Lunch is served on the course and the golfers return to a cocktail hour and full, buffet-style dinner. Bowlathon set for Nov. 1, 2025
The Chapel Haven Family Association is busy at work planning the CHSC Bowlathon! This is a CHSC community-wide event – everyone is invited! That includes staff, students, community members, friends and family!

Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025
Registration starts at 12:30 pm., bowling from 1 pm to 3 pm
Raffles from 3-4 pm and BBQ 5 pm
Location: Amity Bowl, Woodbridge
BBQ back on our campus.
