Robert Nurin, Retired Consulting Director of Education, CHSC

Robert Nurin is retired after many years of service to Chapel Haven Schleifer Center. Bob served as the director of education for Chapel Haven West, where he retired with his wife, Beth, a speech-language pathologist. Bob was also Chapel Haven’s long time Director of Education, whose expertise in special education helped Chapel Haven Schleifer Center become an approved, private special education high school. Bob also has guided the professional development and training of Chapel Haven teachers in accordance with state and federal standards. He has a long and distinguished career as a Pupil Personnel Director for several CT towns.
