John Workman is President of Hudson Strategies, Inc

John Workman is President of Hudson Strategies, Inc., a communications consulting firm known for its work with healthcare providers, as well as conservation and environmental organizations. His work includes counseling senior management of major medical centers, hospitals, universities and colleges. He holds M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University.

 

John is one of the founding members of the Children’s Board at Columbia, which advocates for pediatric programs at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. His experience with Columbia spans over 25 years of support for research at the Medical Center’s Division of Child Neurology.

 

In addition, John serves on the Board of Pony Power Therapies, Inc., which provides equine-assisted activities for people with an array of needs. These include autism, emotional disorders, depression and addiction; victims of abuse, and patients suffering from illnesses such as cancer and cerebral palsy.

 

John has also served on the Board of the Yale Center for Parliamentary History (Chair, 1997-2003), and as a Trustee of the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra (1999-2004).
