Exciting things have been happening at Chapel Haven Schleifer Center. Thanks to the generosity of Len and Harriet Schleifer, the DDSF Foundation and countless Chapel Haven families, we have completed a $45 million campus transformation.
Our new campus includes outstanding modern residences, classrooms, common spaces, and the new Schleifer Adult Independent Living (SAIL) facility, for lifelong support.
The REACH program now enjoys a brand-new, four-story, state-of-the-art residential and classroom campus, providing 24/7 staff oversight as our students navigate the beginnings of a truly independent adult life.
Click on our award-winning video to see what we experience and all the thoughtful details that have gone into the planning of the Chapel Haven East Schleifer Center.
“We believe that an inviting space uplifts the spirits of all our adults, and that’s what matters to us.”
– Mike Storz, President of CHSC
And our host community, Westville Village, has gained exciting new restaurants including Camacho Garage and Pistachio, approval for an upscale residential development on the site of the former 500 Blake Street, and more.
We are more than just a school – we are a community! Watch our video “Celebrating our Westville Community” to see how important our host neighborhood is to us.
