For Storz, decade of service leads to top as new president of Chapel Haven

NEW HAVEN: As the new president of Chapel Haven, Michael Storz has lots of administrating and program planning to do, but he still keeps an open door to students because after 10 years, they’re still why he loves his job.

Storz began his career at Chapel Haven on Whalley Avenue in 2000 as a residential support coordinator and worked his way up, holding the position of executive vice president before taking the top job recently when Betsey Parlato retired.
