Bradley Bopp, Director of Operations, Security & Information Technology
Bradley J. Bopp is Director of Operations, Security and Information Technology (IT) for Chapel Haven Schleifer Center. He brings 31 years of experience in law enforcement to this newly created post. Brad notes, “I was a proud member of the oldest state police agency in the country, the Connecticut State Police (established 1903). I worked out of Troop I, Troop G, Troop A and our newly formed Homeland Security Office after 9/11 where I conducted security assessments of our three ports, and critical infrastructure around the state.” Brad was also assigned to former CT Governor M. Jodi Rell’s protective detail. After serving with distinction as a state trooper for 22 years he retired, only to be hired days later by Quinnipiac University’s Department of Public Safety as a patrol officer. His role evolved into a position as public safety training officer at the university, where he served as a firearm’s instructor, taught active shooter response training, and trained students about campus safety. Brad spent nine years in that role. He resides in Seymour with his wife, Allison and the couple has two daughters, Peyton and Madison, both proud graduates of Quinnipiac University. Brad received a BA in Criminal Justice from Quinnipiac University.
