Carolyn Gorman, ATR, PRC Supervisor Asperger’s Syndrome Adult Transition (ASAT) Program.
Carolyn is the Supervisor of the Asperger’s Syndrome Adult Transition (ASAT) Program. She oversees on-campus ASAT programming for day and residential students. Carolyn has worked at the Chapel Haven Schleifer Center in a variety of capacities, starting as a Student Advisor for the ASAT program in 2010 and later working as ASAT’s Coordinator of Post-Secondary and Career Education. Carolyn received a Master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling from Albertus Magnus College and is a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and Connecticut state licensed professional counselor (LPC). She has a varied career with years of experience in graphic design, at art organizations, in special needs schools, and in private practice. She enjoys finding new ways to share her creativity and passion for autism and mental health advocacy.
