Gina Apicella, MS, BCBA, LBA, Senior VP Clinical Services

Gina Apicella, MS, BCBA, LBA, is the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at Chapel Haven Schleifer Center. She is a licensed and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Gina worked in various positions within the Asperger’s Syndrome Adult Transition (ASAT) program at CHSC since 2012, until moving into her current role. She focuses on creating realistic interventions to achieve independence based on individuals’ goals and motivations, and a better quality of life. Gina has a special interest in applying behavior analytic concepts with adults to demonstrate how behavior analysis is applied to everyday life, and she is committed to utilizing best practices as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet each individuals’ needs.

Gina has been working in the human service field, helping neurodiverse adults achieve independence, since receiving her B.A. in psychology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2008. She received her M.S. in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Saint Joseph in 2017. In her free time, Gina enjoys hiking and spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, a papillon and black lab mix.
