Joel Lynch, Career Transition Specialist

Joel Lynch, Career Transition Specialist (CTS), joined CareerAbility in March 2023. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge working in the field of Human Services across several populations. Joel began his career path teaching preschool children in a Head Start program. From there He has worked with the elderly as a CNA caring for individuals with dementia. Joel has worked with school-aged children with autism as a special education para educator. He has also worked in various settings such as adult day programs, and group homes, caring for and supporting individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, and in supporting inclusive employment as a job developer, job coach, and case manager. Joel’s goal is to assist the individuals he works with to become the very best version of themselves that they can be. He motivates and encourages them to go beyond the limitations and labels to show the world that their disability is a superpower, and not a handicap.
