Mylissa Rockefeller, Teacher's Assistant REACH Program

Mylissa RockefellerMylissa Rockefeller is a Teacher’s Assistant in the REACH program who has worked in the disabilities field for 25-plus years, including more than 18 years at Chapel Haven. She started volunteering at the age of 14 at her mother’s school for children with autism and behavioral issues and has previous experience working at the State of Connecticut Detention Center. Mylissa has a passion for working with children and adults who are non-verbal, verbal, behavioral, on the autism spectrum, etc. “I love what I do and love serving the students and families we have,” she notes. “In my spare time I love hanging with friends and family especially my nieces and nephew, and I love my sports (football and baseball).”
