Kevin J. Ahern is the proud parent of a Chapel Haven community member since 2022 and serves as a parent ambassador at local events. He is President and Co-Founder of Litchfield Builders, Inc., an award-winning residential and commercial construction and remodeling firm based in Hamden, Connecticut.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Kevin co-founded Litchfield Builders in 1989 with his brother. The firm has earned numerous honors, including recognition as one of “America’s Top Remodelers,” Remodeling Magazine’s Big50 Award, multiple HOBI Awards, an AIA Connecticut Design Award, and “Remodeler of the Year” by the State of Connecticut Home Builders Association. The company holds several professional certifications, reflecting its commitment to quality, integrity, and industry leadership.

Kevin has contributed extensively to the remodeling industry through education and service, including teaching courses for consumers and professionals and serving as President of the Home Builders Association of New Haven County, as well as a board member and Life Director of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of the Connecticut River Region.

Known for his hands-on leadership and dedication to client satisfaction, Kevin continues to guide the company with a focus on craftsmanship, professionalism, and community involvement. Kevin resides with his wife in Glastonbury.
