Community Life Program (CLP

The Community Life Program (CLP) offers a structured, meaningful day for adults Who are not currently working or are employed part-time. Designed to promote independence, wellness, and social engagement, CLP helps individuals build productive routines while actively participating in the Greater New haven community.
Participants take part in daily programming that includes:
Each program day is divided into two sessions:

Each session begins with a social hour (Morning Meeting or Lunch), followed by two hours of structured activities.

CLP emphasizes giving back through weekly community service. Participants volunteer with local organizations. gaining confidence and purpose in a fun, supportive group setting. Recent partners include:

Whether preparing a meal, volunteering with peers, or enjoying lunch in town, CLP offers daily opportunities to grow, connect, and thrive.
On average, participants attend 1 day of programming per week, while balancing a weekly schedule of working and engaging in other Chapel Haven offerings.

Most participants are under age 40.
