Campus Life & Beyond
At Chapel Haven Schleifer Center, we believe that a meaningful life includes vibrant social connections and a strong foundation of wellness. Through our integrated Recreation and Wellness programs, adults of all abilities discover new passions, build lasting friendships, and develop the skills to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Seasonal Weekend Getaways
A Partnership Rooted in Nourishment, Independence, and Community
For the past five years, Chapel Haven Schleifer Center has partnered with Honeyplate Kitchen to make healthy eating simple, accessible, and joyful for our adults. This service is not a replacement for the daily cooking and meal preparation transition residents learn in their own apartments—it’s a thoughtful complement. Honeyplate offers a convenient way to enjoy nutritious, ready-to-heat meals without leaving campus. Whether it’s a busy day, a special event, or just a night off from cooking, Honeyplate helps ensure our community always has access to wholesome food options.
At Chapel Haven, food is more than fuel—it's a chance to build skills, share moments, and connect with others. Whether preparing a meal in their apartment or enjoying a Honeyplate lunch with friends, CHSC adults are practicing independence and celebrating community.
