Patricia Larson joined CH in 2018 and currently serves as the Interim Recreation Director, bringing a strong blend of educational expertise, program leadership, and community-centered service. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Comprehensive Special Education (K–12) from SCSU and a master’s degree in TESOL from USM–Portland. A certified special education teacher, Patricia spent seven years teaching in New Haven and Cheshire Public Schools, and she now leads the district’s Transition Program for post-graduate students.

Throughout her time at CHSC, Patricia has contributed in multiple capacities, including Recreation Aide, Special Olympics Coordinator, and a reliable cross-departmental collaborator. Her background in education, her commitment to inclusive programming, and her steady leadership make her a valuable asset during this period of transition.
