Tina brings over 30 years of expertise in inclusive arts education to her role as Art Director at Chapel Haven. She began her career by launching a small ceramics program offered two evenings per week. Due to exceptional student interest, the program expanded rapidly and ultimately evolved into the comprehensive, multi-disciplinary arts curriculum she leads today.

Her current teaching portfolio includes Ceramics, Painting, Jewelry Making, Painted Glass, and the Chapel Haven Theater Group, where she directs three original, unscripted plays annually in addition to a community talent show. Tina also manages the Chapel Haven Art Guild, supporting artists in developing skills, exhibiting work, and engaging with the broader arts community.

Tina has played a central role in establishing and sustaining Chapel Haven’s long-standing partnership with the Yale Center for British Art. She co-developed Out to Art, a weekly museum-based program that integrates gallery learning with hands-on studio practice. Her previous collaborations include the Art for Autism program with Yale undergraduates, the Girls on the Spectrum class for the Yale Child Study Center, and co-teaching the YCBA’s Artism program for young children with autism and their families.

She presents nationally with the YCBA Education Department, highlighting the success and impact of Chapel Haven’s award-winning inclusive arts initiatives.
