Chapel Haven Family Association
On behalf of the entire Chapel Haven community, we are pleased to welcome all new CHSC families to the Chapel Haven Family Association (CHFA).
CHFA was created by parents who recognized the unique strength of the Chapel Haven community and the powerful role families play in supporting the growth, confidence, and independence of our adults. By fostering connection among parents, siblings, relatives, and friends, CHFA promotes relationshipbuilding, education, engagement with Chapel Haven leadership and staff, and opportunities for participation, volunteerism, and philanthropy.
As a parent, guardian, or sibling of a Chapel Haven community member, you are already part of CHFA.
There is no formal registration or membership fee.
CHFA has led and supported a variety of initiatives, including:
- Developing a Family Resource Guide
- Participating in the Annual Chapel Haven Golf Tournament
- Hosting regional events for current and prospective families
- Organize and run the annual Bowlathon
- Support Afternoon of Awesome, Spring Fun Fest, January Jamboree and Special Olympics
- Attending new student orientation to welcome new families
- Assisting with CHSC Family Weekend activities
- Volunteering with UARTS
