In addition to our annual Family Brunch, we’re introducing two exciting additions: the CHSC Family Walkathon and a series of informational breakout sessions designed to support and engage our families! Saturday, May 2 — New Breakout Sessions at Chapel Haven
Join us on campus to kick off the weekend for two informative morning sessions! Based on your feedback, we are providing you with answers to your most popular questions!
9:30–10:30 a.m. — Your Benefits Roadmap: Guidance for Families at CHSC . Join SVP of Community Programs Sunny Richards to learn how CHSC supports students, community members and families as they navigate the world of Federal, State and local entitlements. A brief overview of the services offered by our Benefits office will be shared as well and time for Q & A.
10:30–11:30 a.m. — Building Tomorrow Together: Unveiling CHSC’s Strategic Plan. Join President Michael Storz as he presents Chapel Haven’s new strategic plan, highlighting the bold steps CHSC is taking to expand opportunities and strengthen supports. Learn how this roadmap will shape the next several years and directly benefit the adults in our community.

Saturday, May 2 — CHSC Family Walkathon
After the morning sessions, head to the beautiful grounds of the JCC of Greater New Haven from 12-4pm for our first‑ever CHSC Family Walkathon! Enjoy an afternoon filled with community spirit—complete with music, activities, and New Haven-style pizza for all. Learn more with the link below.

Sunday, May 3 — Annual CHSC Family Brunch
We’ll close out the weekend with our beloved Family Brunch at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This cherished tradition brings together families, friends, and community members for a joyful celebration of connection and unity. Learn more and register at the link below.
